Politicians who Support the Asylum Scandal are Complicit in Murder!

Many in our political class are complicit in the brutal murder of Wayne Broadhurst (above), and the stabbing of two other people, including a 14-year old boy on Monday 27 Oct 2025 in the suburban district of Uxbridge, West London. They are culpable, says Alistair McConnachie.
According to this BBC report: "The Home Office confirmed the suspect entered the UK in a lorry in November 2020, was granted asylum and leave to remain in 2022, and does not live in Home Office accommodation."
In other words, a person who entered the UK in an illegal manner was able to claim "asylum" and consequently go on to kill a British citizen!
The responsibility for this murder, as with all such murders related to violent "asylum seekers", rests squarely on the SNP, Green, Labour, Lib Dem, and Conservative politicians who advocate to maintain the present "open door asylum" system, including and especially the permissive embrace of rampant illegality – such as sneaking into the country via a lorry.
These politicians are complicit and culpable. They are involved and to blame.
Their outmoded submission to international conventions which are well-past their sell-by date, is killing us!
IT IS EASY TO CHANGE THE LAW, AND PROTECT OUR COUNTRY
The law should be changed to ensure that anyone who enters the country via dinghy or lorry is simply not able to claim asylum. What on earth is so hard about that?
The answer is that Britain's membership of the UN Refugee Convention forbids it!
The Convention – which is a different convention from the "European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR)" – requires us to consider seriously an application for asylum, regardless of how the person entered the country.
It is this UN Refugee Convention which legitimises what would be otherwise illegal entry via Small Boats, and Lorry Stowaways, if the intention is to "claim asylum". That is, if you enter illegally, but claim "asylum" then you are no longer "illegal"; you are now "irregular" and you are entitled to the consideration of the British State which will ensure you live in comfort while your "case" is being processed.
It's a crazy system. Its so-called "justification" is that people "escaping persecution" cannot be expected to enter via the formal channels. Of course, this notion doesn't even apply to Britain anyway, since nobody is "fleeing persecution" in a small boat or lorry from France.
The very simple solution – if we are serious about stopping the boats, and clamping down on illegal entry in other ways – is to leave the UN Refugee Convention. We don't need any complex nonsense about "sending them to Rwanda".
We then declare the absolute, inviolable, unchallengeable, sacrosanct sovereignty of our borders, and declare that anyone attempting to enter the UK outside of official routes will immediately be met with the full force of the law.
Then we must replace the UN Refugee Convention with a new programme which will declare certain routes of entry to be illegal; which will criminalise everyone who uses them; which will send them straight to prison for breaking the law – and which will deport them after sentence, with no right to return.
PRISON IS THE PUNISHMENT
In this case, the law should simply state that if you enter via certain "illegal routes" then you will be automatically disqualified from any "asylum" consideration, and you will go straight to prison for at least 5 years.
Some people ask, "Why do we need to send them to prison? Why not just deport them?"
The punishment of prison is necessary to provide the effective deterrent factor. It is the serious threat of imprisonment which will stop them coming, and trying to return.
After the sentence is served, the person's biometric details will be taken, and he or she will be deported. If found again in the country, they will be imprisoned for a further and longer 10 years.
That will stop the illegal "hiding in lorries" traffic very quickly (including the Small Boat traffic).
We won't have to do this to very many, or for very long, until they all stop coming.
WHAT WE MUST DO AT THE BALLOT BOX
It is the politicians of the above parties who have the power to advocate for a change in the system. But what do they do? They advocate for it to continue at our physical risk.
We must not continue to vote for politicians who are complicit in these murders.
We must demand that the politicians of the above-named parties advocate a complete end to the present soft-touch system of "asylum".
We must demand that they advocate
to leave the UN Refugee Convention,
to set up our own much stricter regime, and
to punish, with prison, anyone entering illegally.
If they do not do this, then anyone voting for these parties at Holyrood, the Senedd, Stormont, Local Elections and Westminster must realise that they are voting for people who are actively putting us all in direct physical danger!
We must put each politician on the spot.
We can no longer behave like turkeys voting for Christmas!
We must give them a choice. We must get them to state their position: Are they going to endanger us, or are they going to keep us safe?
Are they going to continue to promote a permissive asylum system which openly embraces illegal behaviour and endangers us all; or are they for the safety and security of the people of this country?
They must make their choice, and they must state it clearly. And we must vote appropriately.
In chapter 10 of our latest book "Protect our Country: Policies to Stop Mass Immigration", we detail the 3 illegal routes for which prison must be the automatic punishment, and we comprehensively detail an alternative regime – a UK Temporary Asylum Programme (UK-TAP).
