A Force For Good was out for the 3rd Saturday in a row, 11th July 2026, pic below. We were in Wishaw where there was a big Parade. Thank you to everyone who came up to our Street Stall. It was lovely to meet you and we are so grateful for your support. We were flying our AFFG Flag and our 110th Battle of the Somme Commemoration Flag, 1916-2026.

Firstly, thank you to everyone who donates to our work. Because of you, we've been going since March 2012. Because of you, we're aiming to reach our 15th Birthday next year, and beyond.
We've never had to do an actual "Emergency Appeal" before, but the organisation is going through a critical period at the moment.
We urgently need an injection of funds to keep us going until the autumn.
We run incredibly frugally. People would be shocked to know how frugally we run (and in that regard, any large donor who wants to discuss a breakdown of our accounts is free to ask).
Our dedicated Team ensures we create our DAILY social media content - all of it completely original - including posts, photos, and videos on Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube and TikTok, and audio podcasts on Spreaker and Substack.
Together, we keep the social media going, we ensure politicians and opinion formers see our printed content; we edit and post videos, we design graphics, and we work to promote and support a schedule of street activism.
Together our Team continues to do this work daily, diligently, and with great affection, because we know we have a precious cause in our United Kingdom and that what we do is worthwhile, now and into the future.
We do this for sheer love of the cause.
And we intend to keep this cause seen and heard.
We certainly do not want to "go away" even though there are people who might prefer that we do!
There's lots more research work that we would like to do.
For example, we intend to do more "Union Heart" magazines - a Special on WW1 and a Special on the Parliamentary Union next year in 2027 (320th anniversary) - as well as Vol 3 of A Big Book for the Union. These are things we could do if we are able to raise funds in excess of what is needed to cover our basic weekly costs.
But before we even consider those things, we need to continue to exist in the first place. Continuing to exist itself, is an aim of the game!
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
We'll be upfront. We need a rapid injection of funds of around £2K to take us through to autumn.
So, we're making this Emergency Appeal.
If there is any amount you can chip-in – large or small – then please head to OUR SUPPORT PAGE HERE and select "One-time", with a donation of your choice.
If you prefer to become a monthly donor, spreading your donation out over the year, then that is great too. In that case, please select "Monthly".
If you decide to help keep us going, then you're an absolute star! We can't thank you enough.
REWARDS:
Anyone who makes a one-time donation of:
£10 - £24 can request a FREE AFFG Union Heart Badge (worth £5);
£25+ you can request an AFFG Badge AND a FREE signed copy of "A Wee Book for the Union" (worth £10);
£50+ you can request an AFFG Badge, a signed copy of "A Wee Book for the Union" AND a FREE signed copy of "One Big Country: A Big Book for the Union, Vol 1" (worth £20). (Please write your request in the "Write us a comment" section of the donation box.)
And if you don't want to request anything, then that's fine too.
Here's to being able to celebrate our 15th Birthday next year!
